The 4st Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night has recently concluded but it continues to be the talk of the town because of its alleged controversies in proclaiming winners for the different awards.
Many are not pleased with the results of some awards, thus giving rise to hashtag #RIPMMFF.
Until now many are questioning as to why Maine Mendoza won the Best Supporting Actress award. As a result, netizens are posting their own opinions and hate comments about the said win.
But Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban defended the AlDub superstars when someone commented on her Instagram account.
Angelica posted a poster to support her boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz for his movie 'Honoy Thy Father'. But suddenly, a netizen posted a negative comment about AlDub's movie 'My Bebe Love". She answered back and reminded not to say hateful words to other artists.
Another Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado, who is also nominated for Best Supporting Actress category, congratulated Maine Mendoza. She said that she's happy for Maine and she deserves the award.
Both actresses emphasized that we should respect one another and stop the fan wars!
