Because of the overgrowing population of the Philippines, sex education is being taught on different schools in the country. There are also reports which claim that the number of youth engaging to sexual intercourse is increasing.
As a result, more teenage girls are becoming young mothers who are not yet capable to have a family of their own.
In this case, there will be more irresponsible fathers and mothers because how can you expect a teenager to raise a child and to be a role model to their kids?
Irresponsible parenthood affects wide scope in the country's economy. If they can't afford to send their children to school, there will be less chances to raise the kids in becoming good citizens and alarming issues will arise such as more babies, more street children.
Not only that, early pregnancy have the possibility to result to child abandonment.
These are only possible results if the youth and young adults are not aware of the possible outcomes of their impulsive behaviors.
That is why the video below suggests that if a person is not yet ready to face the responsibilities of being a parent, it is better to avoid situations that would lead you to having sexual intercourse before you regret it in the end.
