The Philippine Star uploaded a video of Presidential aspirant Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte affirming his run for the Presidential race come 2016.
Duterte other than his affirmation solicits every one’s help for his campaign. He claims he does not have machinery and the money to fund his crusade unlike his competitors. So he calls on the youth, housewives and common people to become his political machinery.
He even challenges his listeners, if they have indeed become the “boss” as claimed and promised by the recent administration.
He ends his speech with a high note saying “I will do my part to give you back your country. And set it on the right course so our youth will have a future.” But I can not do it alone. Everyone must sacrifice. Yes, I am running! But you have to run with me. Let’s fix this country! Sama sama tayo! Upakan na natin!
The video was posted in Philippine Star’s Facebook account where after four hours it was uploaded has been viewed 284,808 times; reached 16,275 people; 23,983 shares; and got 1,200 comments and is still growing.
Davao City Mayor and presidential aspirant Rody Duterte reiterated that he will pursue his candidacy despite not having enough campaign funds, believing that the Filipino people will back him in the 2016 polls. Duterte also slams the Aquino administration: "Sabi nila tuwid raw ang daan at kayo raw ang boss. Naramdaman ba ninyo na kayo ang boss? Boss ba kayo sa mahal na bilihin? Sa grabeng traffic? Sa pag-usbong ng krimen at droga? Sa walang trabaho? Kayo ang binubusabos."#BilangPilipino
