Mar Roxas claims that Davao City being a safe city is just a myth. 

As a result, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte questioned the credentials and educational attainment of Mar Roxas. Duterte claims that Roxas is not a Wharton MBA holder.

A viral video about a Singaporean taxi driver had the opportunity to visit Davao City in the past. He also compared the city to Singapore because both are strict in implementing laws to provide safety for its people.
