If there would be a comparison between the youth of today and of the past, the differences are remarkable. From the behavior, values, beliefs, attitude and principles, both are somehow opposite of each other.
In the past there would be traditions concerning how the youth should behave and act towards people. But now it seems that the youth disappoints the adults and elderly people for the way they act.
As Christmas day is fast approaching, it has been a tradition for some to have a "simbang gabi" also known as Night Mass. It is done in anticipation of Christmas in a span of a devotional nine-day series of Masses accomplished by Roman Catholics.
It is a must that whenever they go to their church to attend a mass, proper decorum and dress code should be followed by the attendees.
But today teens usually wear whatever clothes they like upon going to the church without being sensitive to what others might say about them. Some also attend for the sake of friends, display their outfits and be a show off.
And now, another video is circulating online because of a group of teens having a riot right in front of a church.
Netizens claim that these youth don't have respect. They also claim that were disappointed with this kind of behavior.
Once again, the famous line of Jose Rizal as the youth being the hope of the country is being questioned by many.
