Cysts are common on the skin but are noncancerous. These closed pockets of tissue filled with fluid, pus or other material, are developed from an infection and clogging of oil glands.

A kind of cyst is known as pilar cysts which is usually found on the scalp. But a viral video shows how this kind of cyst in found inside the arm of a man.

The video shows how the cyst was removed from the arm by Dr. Sandra Lee. She claims that it was really unusual to see one on the arm but it was particularly satisfying to remove it.

Watch how big the cyst is!

Here's a similar but very different cyst as compared to my last recent post. The difference is that this is a pilar cyst not the more common epidermoid cyst. 90% of pilar cysts occur on the scalp so it's unusual to see one on the arm but they are particularly satisfying to remove because the wall of the cyst is thicker and often can be removed whole. This one was fun! You can watch the whole vid on my YouTube channel at Dr Sandra Lee (aka Dr Pimple Popper), or click here: https://youtu.be/VZeZhIRypo8
