Manny Pacquiao has been a controversial topic after he stated his opinion about same-s*x marriage. His answer was misunderstood by many because his full interview was not shown properly on television.
As a result, many reacted aggressively and criticized him for saying such thing. Even known celebrities like Vice Ganda, Boy Abunda, Aiza Seguerra, Lea Salonga and Perez Hilton fired back to Manny.
Almost all of them claimed that they were disappointed with Manny's remark and they lost their respect to him. Furthermore, Vice Ganda even said that he will not personally vote for Manny to have a senate seat in the upcoming May elections.
Manny also lost some of his endorsements like Nike. There are also claims that his other endorsement deals will be cut off because of his controversial statement.
Amidst of the issue Manny Pacquiao is facing, there are Christians who stood up and supported him. They did a video to show that they are on the side of the boxing champ.
In particular, Cebuanos took a video of themselves burning their Nike shoes. They claim that they did this to show others that they do not support same-s*x marriage.
The Cebuanos said that they show support for righteousness. They added that they love the LGBT community but they don't want their agenda and act.
