While it certainly doesn't cause any harm, a recent study conducted by researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research suggests that watching sensuous videos negatively affects the brain. Several volunteers participated on the study, and on average it has been concluded that men spend about roughly 4 hours a week watching porn.
The brain of the participants were scanned with the use of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and discovered some interesting information. Scans reveal that the brain is negatively affected with a decrease in functioning and alternates decision-making.
Although researchers have yet to fully understand the effects of watching porn, they are investing in future studies to gather further information. The study is still on its initial stages and is still under development.
While you may think that there's no harm done in watching pornography, your brain is affected when you view an episode.
