In the nick of time, dozens of quick-thinking residents of a Dongguan residential district teamed up to save a 1-year-old boy who fell from the balcony outside of a 5th floor apartment. According to Ifeng News, the incident took place at around 3 p.m. when one resident spotted the boy and started shouting for help.<br />

"I was just relaxing on the first floor when I heard a child's cry," Mrs. Xu recalled. "I raised my head and saw a boy sitting on the fifth floor balcony, with one leg stretched out over the edge."<br />

She instantaneously rushed into her home and took a quilt off her bed in the hopes of catching the toddler in case he continues to fall. After hearing Xu's help, nine other neighbors also fetched quilts from their homes and unfolded them outside. As police were trying to force the door of the balcony open, the boy suddenly fell from the fifth floor, fortunately right into the quilts prepared by the neighbors.<br />

The child was rushed immediately to the hospital, but suffered no injuries. The boy's grandmother told reporters that she had been playing with the toddler out on the balcony. Somehow, the boy had managed to push his grandmother away and accidentally lock the door of the balcony, before climbing out onto the ledge. Afterward, she thanked her neighbors and promised to keep a closer watch of her grandchild in the future.

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's transparency forum in the University of Los Baños drew some minor contention and strife between him and a certain student from the university named Stephen Villena who boldly challenged the mayor with a battle of Q&A's inside the campus.<br />

The student let out a barrage of questions about Duterte's top priorities should he be elected as the next president. A screenshot of Stephen's payment account has been making rounds on social media, and it appears that there's a story behind his bombardment of Mayor Duterte and that is allegedly being paid P50,000 from LP presidential aspirant Mar Roxas.<br />

During their heated exchange, Stephen said to Mayor Duterte Sir, sana pakisagot lang po ng diretso kasi nagtatanong po kami ng diretso dito para po makauwi na kayo. (Sir, I hope you answer questions directly because our questions are also directly, so that you already go home afterwards.)<br />

He continued to interrupt Duterte while he was stating his answers, leaving a bad taste in the mouths of many who found his actions to be quite rude and disrespectful.<br />
Despite the onslaught, Mayor Duterte seemed not bothered at all by the student's brash confidence. The savvy and straightforward talking mayor emphasized that education will be one of his primary priorities of his administration and not national security like everyone believes.<br />

But the student appeared to be discontent with Duterte's answers, continuing to pounce with a series of questions that made the crowd inside the campus in cheers.<br />
<br />
After a little bit of information digging, it is believed that Stephen Villena is an acquaintance and a friend of Aika Robredo, daughter of congresswoman Leni Robredo who's quite frankly the running mate of former DILG secretary Mar Roxas.<br />
<br />
The viral photos circulating online suggests that Stephen has an account at coin.ph, a website that allows the transfer of money within the Philippines.<br />
As seen from the screenshot, he is from Imus, Cavite and received roughly about P50,199.99 in his account paid through M Lhuillier Kwarta Padala.<br />
<br />
Though the screenshot cannot be fully confirmed as authentic as Stephen's social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter were deactivated.<br />
<br />
Meanwhile, a UPLB student named Ronald Glenn Celestial took to social media and posted an open letter of apology to Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and his supporters, but not without pointing fingers as he slammed local media.<br />
<br />
According to Ronald, he received tons of criticism and negative comments after a video report by news and publishing website Rappler misled local netizens. Hours after the post, Rappler acknowledged the mistake on their part and honestly admitted their error.<br />

While it certainly doesn't cause any harm, a recent study conducted by researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research suggests that watching sensuous videos negatively affects the brain. Several volunteers participated on the study, and on average it has been concluded that men spend about roughly 4 hours a week watching porn.<br />

The brain of the participants were scanned with the use of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and discovered some interesting information. Scans reveal that the brain is negatively affected with a decrease in functioning and alternates decision-making.<br />
<br />
Although researchers have yet to fully understand the effects of watching porn, they are investing in future studies to gather further information. The study is still on its initial stages and is still under development.<br />
